After baby goes to sleep I spend most of my free hours in my room drawing. Somedays i’m eager about my grand plans and other days i’m just making repetitive lines and tuning the rest out. Drawing is my meditation.
Yarns
I’ve been enjoying the process of searching for materials/ yarns handspun by women (local some international) From the moment the packages arrives I can sense the time and love that went into producing them and I feel so lucky to be including them in my work.

I got a chance to visit LACMA while I was visiting LA and you have no idea how excited I was when I discovered this piece of work. I've also seen Matisse exhibition at the MOMA and Museum of Fine arts in Boston but I have never seen this particular piece. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
SEARCHING FOR INSPIRATIONS
For me one of the most difficult part of being in a creative field is finding something new to create everyday. When I first started designing my scarves, I would fill out pages and pages of things that inspired me. Now that I am in my fifth year of designing the pressure to create something new and sensational feels bit overwhelming. Sometimes I would log out of Instagram because I would be so tired of seeing other artists never running out of inspirations. I've been trying to explore more-see more-do more without pressuring myself to be inspired. I haven't been to Guggenheim in a while but here are photos from my visit. It was a fresh breath of air taking myself off of Pinterest, Instagram and Google Images. If you're in a creative field I would love to know how you stay motivated and inspired- Please comment below!
